Antiques

This past Saturday June 2nd 2012, a group of around 100 photographers invaded and occupied the Antique Center of Texas located in Northwest mall.

Armed with DSLRs, Flash, tripods, point & shoot cameras and macro lenses, they spent hours seeking and shooting at anything that would make a good picture.

Leaving all tabloid headlines aside, this was actually a very large photo-walk organized by Joe Lippeat from Houston photowalks.

Fortunately for us, our photo-invasion was expected by the folks at the Antique Center and while I was asked several times by some of the customers "What's with all the cameras? Why does everyone have a camera?" I think it was a very successful photo-walk and I'd like to thank Joe for putting this together and the people from the Antiques center for being patient with us (after all, is not often that store owners let you in their stores with a camera and don't frown upon it).

Here's the link to some of the pictures I took that day: Antique Center of Texas
