Had a great time last night (obviously not as good as these guys, but still good) at Roak nightclub, which hosted the: "Tastes like candy" swimsuit fashion show from Sophisticated Bitch - King Dick designs.

I'm still going through the photos but here's a tease of what's to come; hope to be posting the full set tonight.

This past Saturday June 2nd 2012, a group of around 100 photographers invaded and occupied the Antique Center of Texas located in Northwest mall.

Adding action to your shots

I have been applying an effect to my pictures lately where I apply a radial blur to the background to help identify the main subject and to add some action to an otherwise static image, and I've been hearing some very positive feedback as well as questions on how to apply the effect so I decided to do a mini-tutorial on how to do it.

Art car aftermath

A week after the 25th Art Car Parade in Houston and I'm already counting the days for the next year. It was really a great weekend and I had a nice opportunity to make new friends and even got some of my pictures published.

Foodies rejoice!

After so much activity walking around taking pictures for the weekend Art Car Events (the Ball, the Sneak Peek and the Parade) I decided it was fair that I re-gained all the pounds I might have lost under the Houston sun visiting the Haute Wheels Truck food festival so I'll be attending in a couple of hours.

Art Car weekend

We have an important weekend coming up in Houston. On May 12 is the 25th Annual Art Car Parade (which is free!), but there are all sorts of related activities before and after.
